Recognition

  • The Board recognized several outstanding members of the Westside community.

  • WHS Educators Rising students Kelsie Cobb, Jaxson Hines, Darcy Ford, and Destinee Tate, along with teacher Lindsay James, were recognized as they prepare to compete at the State Conference at ASU Beebe.

  • The WHS Boys Bowling Team was also recognized for winning the 4A State Championship and advancing to state finals competition.

  • In addition, the Board honored Myca Ferguson for nine years of dedicated service as a member of the Westside School Board. Superintendent Chris George presented her with a plaque in appreciation of her leadership and commitment to the district.
