Important Bus Route Information: Westside will be running two double routes this afternoon, Thursday, March 14th, which will cause bus 79 (Zebra) and bus 73 (Baseball) to be running approximately 1 hour late dropping off students.
Attention Parents, Guardians and Community Members: Due to possible stormy conditions tonight, the Westside Middle School Safehouse will be open. Please don't hesitate to seek shelter if needed.

2024-2025 School Calendar for Westside Consolidated School District
We will have 2 double bus routes today. Bus 81 will run it's normal route and then return to pick up Bus 74 kids. Bus 74 kids will leave the school at approximately 4:10 pm. Bus 78 will run it's normal route and then pick up bus 86 kids. Bus 86 kids will leave the school at approximately 4:15 pm.
Westside Schools will be closed for Spring Break from March 18th to March 22nd, 2024.
Make the most of your time off, recharge, and come back ready to tackle the rest of the semester! 📚✨ School will resume on Monday, March 25th.🎉

📚🎉WES enjoyed Read Across America this week by participating in fun activities related to reading! 🎉📚
The students competed in a reading contest and the top three readers in each grade received a special prize. 🏆👏 Treat bags were distributed to all students and they also enjoyed sugar cookies in the afternoon to celebrate.🍪😋
Many readers also received a book from the vending machine for their reading progress!📚💫
🌼 Don't forget to spring forward your clocks on Sunday, March 10th! 🕰️ Daylight Saving Time begins, so set your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night. ⏰ Enjoy the longer days ahead! ☀️

WHS Prom Committee is hosting a Parents' Night Out on March 8 from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Bring your kids (PreK-7th grade) and let us entertain them while you enjoy a peaceful night. The cost is $10 per child. We will have pizza, movies, games, music, crafts, and lots of fun! All proceeds will help fund WHS Prom 2024.
Registration forms are going home with elementary students next week, but you can register online as well by using the link below. Please register your child and pay by Thursday, March 7 so that we will have an accurate number for pizza and activities. Drop off and pick up will be in the high school gym lobby.
