Congratulations to our Warriors of the Month for October! These students were selected for having respect! Keep up the great work!

This is a reminder that flu shots will be given to those who signed up at the High School and Middle School tomorrow and the Elementary on Tuesday.

October Employees of the Month for WES are Danny Price and Bill Ward. These two gentlemen are always willing to step up and help our students and school! Thank you both for your dedication and hard work.

To say we are excited at WES is an understatement! Today we heard from scientists who were looking for a lost robot and then we found it at our building! ROZ will be with us through November as we read “The Wild Robot” by Peter Brown together as a school. The students have already jumped into the book to find out what happens with ROZ on the island. Be sure to read with us. The schedule for reading is in the front cover of the book your elementary child brought home today.

Friday is the last day for Early Registration for the Baseball Skills Camp. Participants can register at the gate also! Camp is this Saturday, 11/4 with 3rd -5th grade 8-11am/ 6th-8th grade 1-4pm.

RISE Arkansas: Expansion - November 2023 Edition

Roll those clocks back one hour on Saturday night before bed, Warriors! Daylight Savings Time officially ends at 2am on Sunday, November 5, 2023. ⏰

What a fun day saying BOO to drugs and bullying!! The elementary students trick or treated halls, a spooky bus, the office, and tables set up by our amazing community partners! They also went through a haunted maze set up by WES PTO and had a glow dance in the safe shelter. Students also celebrated one another in their classrooms. We have the best kids, families, teachers, and businesses at Westside!!

With October being Dyslexia Awareness Month, we want to recognize our interventionists who work with our dyslexic students! These ladies are great, and we appreciate how hard they work to help our students be stronger readers!
