WES Music Teacher Mrs. Jennifer Carriero recently took her Mini Singers—a talented group of 3rd & 4th graders from Westside Elementary—to perform at the Bono Senior Center's monthly community luncheon. These young Warriors filled the room with music, joy, and community spirit, sharing their voices and bright smiles with all in attendance. Their performance was a wonderful example of how music can connect generations and bring our community closer together. A big thank you to Mrs. Carriero and the Mini Singers for proudly representing Westside and spreading so much cheer! It's a great day to be a Warrior! ❤🤍

After working on the grounds and high school gymnasium all day, and after consulting with a structural engineer about the high school gym, we are now confident that our school is safe and ready for students. That being said, Westside Consolidated will be in session tomorrow, Friday, 4.4.24. I want to thank everyone for their support of not only our school, but our community. WarriorNation is strong and thriving! Thank you! We will see you tomorrow at normal times.

Due to the timing of the impending severe weather, Westside will be releasing early on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Buses will be departing the High School at 1:00 pm. Please make sure to adjust your afternoon schedules accordingly. All AfterCare and Athletics will be cancelled as well. Thank you for your understanding as we strive to ensure the safety of all of Warrior Nation!

As you are aware, the national weather service is calling for a strong chance of severe weather tomorrow afternoon. Westside is monitoring these storms carefully for high winds, heavy rains, and possible hail. As the forecast starts to solidify tomorrow, we could possibly see early dismissal as an option as a means to safely get both students and staff home prior to the onset of severe weather. Please keep this in mind when deciding travel options for your students tomorrow. The safety of the Warrior student body and faculty are paramount for our district.

The 2025 Miss Warrior Pageant was held on March 8, 2025, at the Westside High School Fine Arts Center. Sponsored by the Westside Athletic Booster Club, this annual event showcases the grace and confidence of our students. Winners from the pageant qualify for the NEA Pageant, which will take place on April 4-5 in Trumann. Congratulations to all participants and our newly crowned queens!
