🎉 Congratulations to the Westside School Board! 🎉 We are proud to announce that the Westside Consolidated School District Board of Education has been awarded the Master Board Award by the Arkansas School Boards Association (ASBA)! This honor is given to school boards whose members have each earned 50 or more hours of Board Development Training, reflecting their commitment to leadership, learning, and student success. A special congratulations to Board Member Sam Hiser, who was also individually recognized for reaching the 50-hour milestone in Board Development Training! The board was formally recognized during last night’s regular school board meeting. We are incredibly grateful for their continued dedication and service to the students, staff, and families of Westside. 📣 Important Announcement for Homeschool Families in the Westside Consolidated School District! If you are the parent of a homeschooled child who meets the following criteria, this is for you. The Westside Consolidated School District, Office of Special Education, will hold a meeting with parents of students: *who live in the school district, *have a child who has/had an IEP in a public school setting, *and are currently homeschooling. Your child may be eligible to receive equitable services through a service plan. Please join Dr. Kammerer on Friday, April 25, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. via Zoom. WES Music Teacher Mrs. Jennifer Carriero recently took her Mini Singers—a talented group of 3rd & 4th graders from Westside Elementary—to perform at the Bono Senior Center's monthly community luncheon. These young Warriors filled the room with music, joy, and community spirit, sharing their voices and bright smiles with all in attendance. Their performance was a wonderful example of how music can connect generations and bring our community closer together. A big thank you to Mrs. Carriero and the Mini Singers for proudly representing Westside and spreading so much cheer! It's a great day to be a Warrior! ❤🤍
