❤️🤍 National Parent Involvement Day! ❤️🤍

At Westside, we know that when families and community are involved, students thrive. Whether you’re attending school board meetings, award assemblies, parent-teacher conferences, volunteering at school events, serving on a committee, or being part of a PTO — your involvement strengthens our Warrior community and supports every student’s success.

We are so thankful for our Westside Warrior parents, guardians, and community members who give their time, energy, and heart to support our schools.

From classrooms to the school board — and everywhere in between — you help make Westside strong! ❤️🤍💪

October Bus Driver of the Month: Mr. Ronnie Layne ❤️🤍

Mr. Ronnie has been a blessing to our transportation department over the last year and a half. He is always willing to go the extra mile—driving field trips, vo-tech, and faithfully running his daily bus route. Mr. Ronnie loves his kids and takes his job as a bus driver seriously. He always has a smile on his face, and safety is extremely important to him. Thank you for all you do and for getting our kids home safely each day.
Congratulations, Ronnie!

On Friday, our middle school students had an exciting opportunity to dive into real-life science with the ladies of Junior Auxiliary, who visited to lead a pig heart and lung dissection!

This hands-on experience helped students explore the body systems they’ve been studying in class. Seeing how the heart and lungs work together to keep the body functioning was an unforgettable way to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences.

A huge thank you to the Junior Auxiliary for bringing science to life for our students!
