Westside’s FFA Chapter proudly represented our school at the state convention earlier this week, showcasing their hard work, leadership, and dedication to agricultural excellence. From competitive events to leadership roles, each student played an important part in making this a memorable and successful experience.
✨Hannah Guerin competed in the state Creed Speaking contest and was recognized on stage. She also received her pin for her jacket for placing 2nd at district. She will receive her plaque at our upcoming banquet.
✨Rylee Lemley competed in the state Discussion Meet contest and was pulled for finals, she received an impressive 3rd place in the contest for the entire state. This young lady is VERY knowledgeable! She was given her pin for placing 1st at district and will receive her plaque at the upcoming banquet. Rylee also received a foundational FFA scholarship which she will utilize when she attends college this fall.
✨Cason Stinson was recognized on stage for receiving his state FFA degree and received the charm that will hang from his jacket.
✨Jaxson Hines, Harlynn Robertson and Conner Layne served as our chapters delegates. They met with state officer candidates and placed votes for the new state officer team.
✨Kamron Cruce served on the Courtesy Corps and assisted at the registration table, he was recognized on stage and received a pin for his jacket for his service.
✨Tina Cruce (Kamron’s mother) received her honorary state degree and was recognized on stage.






Important Update: Baseball Senior Night Rescheduled
Our Baseball Senior Night Ceremony has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, April 23rd, as Westside takes on EPC at home starting at 4:30.
The ceremony will be held after the varsity game and before the JV game, at approximately 6:00 PM.
Come out and help us celebrate our senior players and cheer on Westside Baseball!

🎉 Congratulations to the Westside School Board! 🎉
We are proud to announce that the Westside Consolidated School District Board of Education has been awarded the Master Board Award by the Arkansas School Boards Association (ASBA)!
This honor is given to school boards whose members have each earned 50 or more hours of Board Development Training, reflecting their commitment to leadership, learning, and student success.
A special congratulations to Board Member Sam Hiser, who was also individually recognized for reaching the 50-hour milestone in Board Development Training!
The board was formally recognized during last night’s regular school board meeting. We are incredibly grateful for their continued dedication and service to the students, staff, and families of Westside.

🎉 Congratulations to WHS Junior McKyna Craig! 🎉
McKyna has been selected as Central Dealerships of Jonesboro's Athlete of the Month for March! Her hard work, dedication, and leadership make her a standout member of the Warrior family.
As part of this recognition, McKyna chose Mrs. Anna Radillo, WHS Math teacher, as the educator who has made a significant impact on her life. In honor of this, Mrs. Radillo received a $250 gift card from Central Dealerships of Jonesboro!

If you are the parent of a homeschooled child who meets the following criteria, this is for you. The Westside Consolidated School District, Office of Special Education, will hold a meeting with parents of students:
*who live in the school district,
*have a child who has/had an IEP in a public school setting,
*and are currently homeschooling.

WHS Science Club and agri students worked together to plant perennials and pollinators in the Elementary outdoor classroom planters! These flowers will spread to fill the planters and come back every year to promote the presence of pollinators!
