Westside Middle School EAST and G/T programs were honored to have Craighead Electric come talk to our students about their role in our community and the opportunities they offer. Justin Etter and Westside alumni, Lindsey Bowman and Brett Hufstedler did a GREAT job answering questions and describing the different jobs held at their facility. The day kicks off with a Baseball Skills Camp for 2nd-8th graders—an amazing opportunity for young athletes to learn new skills and improve their game with hands-on coaching. Then, stick around for the exciting Home Run Derby at 4:30 p.m., followed by the Alumni Baseball Game at 6:00 p.m.! Jr HighTrap Team tryouts will be held on October 12th for all interested 6th-8th grade students! This tryout is specifically for newcomers looking to join the team.
