Attention Westside community! Due to the forecasted weather this evening, the Westside Middle School Safehouse will be open. Please take advantage of this resource and stay safe, Warriors!

Mrs. Butts' 5th and 6th grade GT students participated in a living wax museum. This activity required students to identify significant contributions of a famous person.
They researched someone who has been successful in their goals and dreams. The living wax museum is a collection of visual displays where the GT students, dressed as famous individuals, stand at attention, while other students walk around and tour exhibits illustrating the life of the person represented.

Congratulations to Westside Middle School 5th grader, Cash Barber, for winning the state D.A.R.E. essay writing competition.
