Westside Middle School EAST was awarded the “EYFT” Classroom Scholarship from Arkansas State University! The announcement was made at the ASU football game Saturday night. This is a $1000 scholarship that will be used towards funding an EAST student project. The project chosen was a podcast creation by Reid Archer and Drake Vaughn called “Warrior Talk”. More information on this exciting project coming soon!
WMS students will be brining home letters that contain instructions for families to view their student's results from last school year's state test, the ATLAS. You will have a letter explaining what to do, as well as your login information. If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to the school.
Attention WMS Families: 5th and 6th grade students will be making up their fall festival activities that they missed on Friday. They will be able to purchase snacks at the concession stand. 5th grade will attend at 12:05 pm , and 6th grade will go 12:50.
Also, WMS will not be dressing up on Halloween. This will be a regular instruction day. Thank you for your help with this.
Attention Patrons: If you are the parent of a homeschooled child who meets the following criteria, this is for you.
The Westside Consolidated School District, Office of Specia Education, will hold a meeting with parents of students:
*who live in the school district,
*have a child who has/had an IEP in a public school setting,
*and are currently homeschooling.
Your child may be eligible to receive equitable services through a service plan!

Get ready for an action-packed Saturday full of baseball fun! The day kicks off with a Baseball Skills Camp for 2nd-8th graders—an amazing opportunity for young athletes to learn new skills and improve their game with hands-on coaching.
Then, stick around for the exciting Home Run Derby at 4:30 p.m., followed by the Alumni Baseball Game at 6:00 p.m.! Watch past Warriors return to the field! ❤🤍
