Westside Consolidated Schools will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic in conjunction with St. Bernards on Thursday, August 12th. This will be from 5:30pm-7:30pm in the high school gym. Please see the links below for PDF copies of the paperwork that St. Bernards will require before giving the vaccination. These can be printed and filled out at home prior to coming to the clinic. Copies (in English and Spanish) will be available in the offices of WES, WMS, and WHS for pick-up as well. Westside K-12 parents, Due to the recent rise in positive COVID-19 numbers in our state and area, Westside Consolidated Schools will be re-opening our Virtual Learning Application for the 21-22 school year for students in grades K-12. The application form is in the link below. Parents should understand that this is an application only. The application is due to the office of the campus that your child attends no later than Friday, August 6th. All applications received will be reviewed by each campus' Virtual Academy Committee to determine if the student has met qualifications set forth in the application. Parents and students should read the application carefully and understand that once enrolled in the virtual learning program, instruction will not be given by Westside Consolidated teachers. The virtual learning provider will be Edgenuity. Parents, Please see the following information about a COVID Vaccine clinic at Woodsprings Pharmacy this week. Patients can book online at woodsprings.as.me/pfizer or just walk in and get first or second shot (as long as first was Pfizer and at least 3 weeks ago).

For any patron or parent who would be coming to Westside Schools, Dan Avenue by the school has been closed due to a chemical spill on the road in front of the high school. Please use alternate route to come to campus.

The Westside Band Boosters will be hosting a car wash on Saturday, July 17 at Advance Auto Parts (240 East Highland Drive, Jonesboro). This will be from 11:00am-3:00pm. Come out and support our band program if you are able to do so!

Westside High School will be hosting Cyber Camp on July 19-23 from 12 pm-4pm each day. This will be a free opportunity that is provided by the Computer Science Innovation Grant that we have received. The Westside Band Boosters will be hosting a car was at Advance Auto Parts on E. Highland on Saturday, June 26th from 10am to 2pm. If you are out and about in Jonesboro, they would love for you to stop by and support our marching band.

Please consider coming out to support our Jr. High Cheerleaders with their car wash fundraiser this Saturday, June 26, from 9:00am-12:00pm. This will be located at the Old Kum and Go gas station in Bono. All funds received will go towards their cheer camp later this summer. Thanks for your support!

FREE SUMMER MEALS Westside Consolidated School District is providing free meals to kids 18 and younger this summer. Date: June 1, 2021-July 30, 2021 with no service on July 2, 2021 Place: Westside Middle School Time: Breakfast 8:00-9:00 and Lunch 11:00-12:00

Parents: School issued mobile hotspots are due to be returned by Friday, May 28th. Please return the device to the superintendent's office during the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Parents, Westside Consolidated Schools will begin taking applications for those who wish to be considered for virtual learning for the 2021-2022 school year. This will be for students entering grades 3-12 only. For those who would like to apply, see the link below for the application. The parent/guardian must print the application off, initial after each requirement, fill in all information requested, and then drop off at your school's office by May 14th. Once the applications are received, each campus will have a committee to determine those who will be eligible to learn virtually during the 21-22 school year. If the set criteria is not met, the student will not be approved for virtual learning and will be required to attend on-site. **Westside Consolidated Schools will be using Edgenuity as the Learning Management System for virtual learners. Edgenuity will provide teachers of record and standards aligned content for all virtual students.
