The vaccination clinic will begin at 5:30 tonight. Those who received their first dose at the school sponsored clinic a few weeks ago should come for their second dose tonight. It is being held in the high school gym lobby.
Those who have not been vaccinated at this point are also welcome to come get your first dose. You would be scheduled to receive your second dose at another location in a few weeks. That appointment will be made before you leave here tonight.
Please consider coming out to our vaccination event and helping stop the spread of COVID-19.

Please join Westside Schools, as well as other schools in the area, as we show support for our healthcare workers who are on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19. On September 8th, we ask that everyone wear blue in recognition of the work that our healthcare workers have been doing since the beginning of the pandemic.

Westside Schools will be closed Monday, September 6, 2021 in observance of Labor Day. School will resume on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

For those who took part in the COVID-19 vaccination clinic 3 weeks ago, St. Bernards will be back this Thursday, Sept. 2nd, 5:30-7:30 p.m. to give Dose 2 shots. This will take place in the high school gym lobby again.

Warrior Community,
In accordance with the school board approved mask mandate, all indoor activities (ball games, parent meetings on campus, etc...) will require that all participants wear a mask when proper social distancing cannot be achieved. For outdoor activities, such as football games, masks will be recommended, but not mandated at this time.
Thank you for your help in slowing the spread and ensuring that our programs are able to continue with our fan support!

Parents,
As you are aware by now, students are receiving free meals again this year. Please spread the word that parents must still fill out the paperwork for Free/Reduced meals. As always, schools receive funding based on the results of the submitted forms.
The following link to the online application allows parents to complete and submit the application faster, while allowing Food and Nutrition Services to approve the application in a timely manner. https://secure.ezmealapp.com/FreeReducedApp.aspx

The last bus just left campus. Students may be delayed in arriving home the first week as we are getting students accustomed to what bus they ride. This will get much faster very soon.

Parents,
All K-12 students will be coming home with packets of information that will need to be filled out by the parents and then returned to the school. This will include basic contact information and such as well as campus specific forms. It is very important that we have these forms returned to the appropriate campus. The contact information that you provide will be what is put in our eSchool database. The primary cell phone number you put in will be where messages from the school will be sent. Please return these forms to the proper campus as soon as possible so we can update our information quickly.

Westside School District is now accepting two online services to better manage your student's school meal account. EZMealApp gives parents the online opportunity to fill out a free and reduced meal application online! This online application will enable parents to complete and submit the application faster, while allowing Food and Nutrition Services to approve the application in a timely manner. The EZMealApp can be accessed from any computer with internet capabilities at EZMealApp. You only need to complete one application per household. The online application is the same as the paper application that Westside School District provides. We bring this technology to our families to ensure that students receive meal benefits as quickly as possible. The online applications are secure and the application is confidential. The paper application is available at www.westsideschool.org or your school office.

All students will be receiving free meals again this year. That being said, it is vitally important that parents fill out the free and reduced application online or by paper. The information that is collected is directly tied to school funding for our students.
Thanks so much for taking the time to submit this application.
