Winter Wonderland Daddy/Daughter Dance, hosted by Westside Thespian Troupe 5659, will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 6-9 p.m. in the Westside Elementary Cafeteria. Flyers can be picked up from the school offices.

Warrior Events for February 21st - 26th!
The Westside School District conducted a campus wide lockdown drill today. The goal of the drill is to improve our ability to protect students, save lives, and reduce injuries. These practice drills allow us to evaluate our emergency operation plans and improve our response skills. We are pleased with the outcome of today’s drill and feel reassured that our safety plans can be implemented effectively by our staff.

Showtimes: March 3, 4, 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Westside Fine Arts Center. Ticket prices are $3 for students and $5 for adults.

Warrior Basketball Update:
Friday, February 11, 2022 - Sr Girls & Boys will play at home vs Pocahontas with a game time of 6:00 p.m. for the girls and the boys to follow. Basketball Senior Night Festivities will also take place tonight at 5:45 p.m.
Saturday, February 12, 2022 - Sr Boys will play a home game against Southside at 3:00 p.m.

The WHS Baseball Team will be hosting a chili supper tonight, February 8th, from 5-7pm in the HS Cafeteria. Chili Supper tickets will be sold at the door for $10. Come out and support our Warriors with a bowl of chili and a basketball game against the Valley View Blazers. (Game admission is not included in supper ticket)
Westside Consolidated will be open for onsite instruction tomorrow, Tuesday, February 8, 2022. We still have some gravel roads that have icy spots on them, so you may receive a call from your bus driver to set up alternate pick up points, but otherwise, it will be business as usual!

National School Counseling Week 2022, “School Counseling: Better Together,” sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), will be celebrated from Feb. 7–11, 2022, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems and how students are different as a result of what school counselors do. National School Counseling Week highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.

Due to many of our side roads and rural dirt roads still being covered with ice, coupled with the high chance of freezing temperatures again tonight, we will not be in school tomorrow.
