Students, Staff, and Guardians,
It looks as though severe weather could once again visit us at Westside as a storm warning has been issued for our area for later this afternoon. Please know that we will be watching the weather intently and should the need arise, we will release school early this afternoon in order to get our students home safely. Also, rest assured that all should the need arise, Westside will utilize the safe houses on all three campuses to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and community. As the forecasts start to solidify throughout the morning, we will use this information to make decisions on release times around noon today. Please check your normal communication outlets (facebook, text message, website) for new information about release times, should that become necessary.

Warrior Nation,
As the weather for this afternoon threatens to get nasty right at dismissal time, please read the following regarding dismissal today. All buses will be held for 30 minutes in an attempt to let the weather blow through. That means elementary students will load at 3:40 with the middle school and high school to follow. Parents, that means your students riding buses will be arriving home at least 30 minutes later than normal. We will be dismissing students with parents upon their arrival in the car rider lines at the elementary and middle school. Student drivers at the high school will be released at 2:25 in an attempt to beat the weather. All other high school students will remain on campus until bus release time unless a parent is here at the high school office to check them out.
