🏐 Volleyball Game Update 🏐 Please note that the Jr/Sr volleyball games scheduled for tonight, September 26th, have been cancelled.

Westside Community, Please see the link below for an update to our Homecoming week festivities. Due to the high chance of rain on Friday, the Homecoming pep rally and events at Westside High School, originally scheduled during the school day on Friday, will be held on Thursday instead. Times of the events for Thursday are contained within the link. The Homecoming Football game remains unchanged. The Homecoming Court presentation before the football game on Friday night will begin at 6:15 pm. If it is raining, this will be moved into the high school gym. Patrons who plan on attending the football game afterward the homecoming court presentation are encouraged to purchase your tickets at the football field ticket booths starting at 5:30 pm. The homecoming court presentation will not cost anything, but buying your football ticket before going into the gym will help ensure you are back in your seats at the football game when it starts at 7:00 pm. While you can purchase the football game tickets after the Homecoming Court, this would help you get back in a little quicker. Football Homecoming Week starts tomorrow! Visit the website or Facebook page for the spirit days. Homecoming shirt orders are due to the office first thing in the morning.

Westside Community, Due to the high chances of rain in the forecast over the next couple of hours, we will be canceling the Homecoming Kickoff Party that was scheduled for tonight. This event will not be rescheduled. The powderpuff games that were to be played tonight will now be played during the school day on Friday with our other homecoming events on campus. We will be contacting our local vendors who had planned on joining us tonight with an option for them to remain involved at an event on campus in the near future. Thank you for all the support and help bring the homecoming atmosphere all week as we get ready for Friday night!!!

We are currently watching the weather to decide if tonight's Homecoming Kickoff Party will be cancelled or not. There has been heavy rain that has been falling in the area, but has not done so at school to this point. The future radar shows heavy rain over the school around 2:30 pm. Our plan is to make a decision around 2:00 pm based on the information we have. We are working on contingency plans if we do in fact cancel this event. More information to come soon.
