A big thank you to our new food service provider, OPAA! 🎉 They prepared a delicious dinner for our school board members before this week’s meeting and treated everyone to dessert just before the meeting began. We’re excited to welcome OPAA! to our school and look forward to all the great meals ahead!

A huge thank you to Airtight Insulators of Jonesboro for their generous donation of bottled water! With our area experiencing extreme heat, this thoughtful gift will help keep our students cool and hydrated as they travel home from school. We are so grateful for community partners like Airtight Insulators who go above and beyond to support our students and staff. ❤️🤍

Families: Students from Bus 78-Penguin are now loading a different bus and will be continuing on with the route. Thank you all for your patience. As always, the safety of our students and staff is our first priority.

Attention Warrior Families: Bus 78 Penguin Bus was involved in an accident this afternoon. ALL STUDENTS AND DRIVER ARE OKAY. Emergency personnel and school officials are en route. Students will stay with the bus until cleared by law enforcement. Students will then continue with the route on a different bus.

Westside was honored to welcome Jonesboro Mayor Harold Copenhaver today! 🙌

Mayor Copenhaver stopped by to visit with our Superintendent, Chris George, offering encouragement and support as we kick off the new school year.

He even brought along a thoughtful goody bag to help start the year on a positive note.

We are grateful for the strong partnership between our city and schools — working together for the success of our students, staff, and community! ❤️🤍

Schedule Change: Due to extreme heat, the football game against Piggott has been moved from Monday to Thursday night. Jr. High – 6:30 PM Sr. High – immediately following. Stay safe and come out Thursday night to cheer on our Warriors in this AAA benefit game!

Entry Fee: $5 for all – NO PASSES accepted

Proceeds from this game benefit the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA), which supports and oversees
student activities and athletics across our schools.

Just a reminder: parents and student coming to the high school will need to park in the parking lot in front of the Fine Arts Center and enter the building through the gym. The parking lot in front of the high school will not be available.

✨ Free Breakfast for ALL Students! ✨
Thanks to Arkansas State Bill 59, ALL students will receive FREE breakfast at school each day upon request — no application or eligibility required. We’re thrilled to ensure every Warrior starts the day ready to succeed!
