Due to impending winter weather, Westside Consolidated will dismiss school today (Wednesday 2/23/22) starting at 1:15 at the Elementary. Middle School will be released at 1:20 and High School at 1:25. Please be safe on your commutes home and watch for communication about tomorrow on the normal channels (Facebook, Website, Text, KAIT8).

It looks as though winter weather could once again visit us at Westside as a winter storm warning has been issued for our area for later this afternoon. Please know that we will be watching the weather intently and should the need arise, we will release school early this afternoon in order to get our students home safely. Please check your normal communication outlets (facebook, text message, website) for new information about release times should that become necessary.

Monday, May 2: A day and 4th block
Tuesday, May 3: B day and 5th block
Wednesday, May 4: Make up test day
Thursday, May 5: Sr last day and activities (more info later)

Winter Wonderland Daddy/Daughter Dance, hosted by Westside Thespian Troupe 5659, will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 6-9 p.m. in the Westside Elementary Cafeteria. Flyers can be picked up from the school offices.

Warrior Events for February 21st - 26th!
The Westside School District conducted a campus wide lockdown drill today. The goal of the drill is to improve our ability to protect students, save lives, and reduce injuries. These practice drills allow us to evaluate our emergency operation plans and improve our response skills. We are pleased with the outcome of today’s drill and feel reassured that our safety plans can be implemented effectively by our staff.
Westside Theatre Presents: Matilda, Jr, The Musical
Showtimes: March 3, 4, 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Westside Fine Arts Center. Ticket prices are $3 for students and $5 for adults.

Warrior Basketball Update:
Friday, February 11, 2022 - Sr Girls & Boys will play at home vs Pocahontas with a game time of 6:00 p.m. for the girls and the boys to follow. Basketball Senior Night Festivities will also take place tonight at 5:45 p.m.
Saturday, February 12, 2022 - Sr Boys will play a home game against Southside at 3:00 p.m.

The WHS Baseball Team will be hosting a chili supper tonight, February 8th, from 5-7pm in the HS Cafeteria. Chili Supper tickets will be sold at the door for $10. Come out and support our Warriors with a bowl of chili and a basketball game against the Valley View Blazers. (Game admission is not included in supper ticket)
